in the uk the bbc has 2500 hours of the Olympics.

the other 3 main stations have desided not to transmit anything worth watching, and mainly repeats.

So if you do not like the Olympics, one suspects people will go on the net.

Yes but...how many people will actually watch the olympics and forget about all the rest? Millions... i suspect LESS sales... :(

During Euro Soccer, revenues from Europe were stagnating - growing but less than usual.
Of course I have no way to know if there is a connection, but the timing is suspect as they picked up again right after it ended.
