Chargebacks
Hey what recourse do you guys use for chargebacks, I got 8 from the same damn person, that Zombaio honored and it is costing me $415.00.
Kinda fucked position to be in when an asshole defrauds you and then pay a $32.00 penalty each chargeback, plus a 5% surcharge, when the scrubbing is supposed to be done by the processor not me. Currently I put these people on my defraud/theft list which on my sites and indexed by Google, only way they get off is to settle the debt. If you guys have any other ways that work I am interested in hearing, or if you know of companies that deal with adult chargebacks. |
It has nothing to do with Zombaio.
What was the chargeback reason? |
supposedly fraud somebody used their card, blah, blah
1-2 months maybe, 4 months...not likely, not when ip person in same area |
Sucks about the chargebacks!
Those fees hurt big time too. Cant get around the fees I suppose. This makes up for the low % they're offering .02 We contsantly watch our sales. We have some things in place to battle the fraud... If we can void a sale to avoid the chargeback we will. |

Showme... your sites seem like they are big enough that you should be getting a merchant account. Then you work as a *team* with *YOUR* bank to fight chargebacks instead of leaving it up to a third party processor to make the decision for you. |

We all hate chargebacks but it's the cost of doing business. Just got to roll with the punches. :) |

My question has always been if you cannot visually verify the customers credit card statement...how can you verify that the funds actually went back to him/her? You could always settle and believe whats being reported...but what happens when customers credit card statement does *NOT* match what is being reported? Anybody want to put that in their pipe and smoke it? Nah why verify when you can just Believe everyone and everything |
