Question to content producers about referring models to you
 

I was wondering why your affiliate programs do not reward us for referring models to sponsors.

I have two babes sites, and I generally receive at least one email per month form girls who'd like to start modeling, or, who want to model for me. They think that I'm the actual content producer.

I generally send them my sponsor list and a good luck message (I know this is lame, I should ask for a portfolio and some nude pics at least, but I'm such a nice and naive guy), but I do think this should be done differently. As an affiliate, I am a sort of front office, dealing with a high number of visitors, I should know how to handle this, and of course, how to make money from this.

Please let me know your thoughts on this. If this has been asked for a hundred times already, please just give me a thread id. If someone has already worked out a solution to this, let me know! Thank you.

Many do give referral money.

your sending them to the wrong ones if your not getting $$$$ kicked back :)

I pay a referal fee however not sure it's worth the money to send a model from east euro..

I pay referral fees for models if they are available in the U S..

Thanks for the reply guys. I was wondering how this kickback actually works: your affiliate sends you the model's contact info, and you pay him upfront?

Most people will give you 20% on top of the models fee for a referral. On every time she works. The system is called "Model's Agent".

Most people will pay for the refferal to shoot her. If that person was to so a solo site with the girl then i would be asking for a $$$$ refferal fee

Do you think there is a list / directory or anything alike of studios, and they preference of models (like: only models from US, etc)? Or this is basically up to the affiliate to build up such a list?

Sorry for the dumb questions, but I have little to no idea how the porn industry works on the production side, and want to understand it.

We give 10% of solo site $ for the life of the solo site for referral for active model

Start by approaching shooters and sponsors who update regularly and in your area. You need to give them some good pictures of the girl and if possible a little video of her in action. We sell videos these days and pictures don't always show how good or bad a girl is on video.

Set up a small blog, listing the girls with a few soft pictures or more and include an affiliates link to the sites they worked on.

Don't go for a referral fee 20% on every shoot is worth more, unless the referral fee is good. Make sure the shooter knows not to pass the girl on to others. Get the girls to pass their friends and girls they work for onto you.

Very few agents make a lot today as the good old days are over. Sponsors posting they are doing great, would be a good place to start and you can tell them now they're doing so well, they can afford new models. :winkwink:
