Exactly.

This is why forums run by companies with a few dollars to their name do not offer sections to "out scammers" or alike.

It is because there is legal issues involved, and people do not want to get sued.

:2 cents:

thank u for the warning , but there's a lot of website doing it, even yelp. In fact a lot of yelp stories are fake. this one guy wrote a negative review for one of my clients, he wrote a whole story, the way I found out it was fake because, the person claim they payed through Amex, and my client doesn't accept Amex. He even send proof to yelp, that the story is fake, and they didn't remove it.. He spook to lawyer and he said it's a very costly, and you can't do anything about it.

The asshole owner of ripoffreport.com ended up going into hiding eventually after death threats.

Tell me you're not creating yet another one of these bullshit "consumer" forums where people are forced to pay you to remove a fake/libelous/slanderous fabricated review.

Justifying it by saying 'everyone else is doing it' - is a load of crap. It's still bottom-feeding at its lowest denominator.

no, it's nothing like that. it's just there's a lot of individual scammers out there. I'm going more after individuals then companies. I'm not going after somebody who got bad service or something, I'm going after individuals who took your money, and provided no service or product. A complete scam I'm talking about. not like oh he was rude to me or, the product sucked, or I received the product late.

For example , it would be like this, I send this person $100, for them to do 20 hours of work, after that I send him $50, I never heard from them.

Also ripoffreport.com was going after legit companies, what they were doing was very shady. I know a legit doctor, who was on that website, for some BS report, she even sent proof, but they wouldn't respond.

I'm not going after legit companies, who been around for years, and some asshole didn't like it, so they decided to write a report.

Scam report sites

I just read The Consumerist and The Ripoff Report.

You might start with my earlier post today where Sony wants $800 to fix my new $400 camera.

There are tons of scam ads on google keywords. Google usually does a good job filtering them but some crap does manage to pass through. The scams I ran into involve "data entry" scams. It turns out to be an ebook teaching how to do affiliate marketing. Complete waste of time. Good thing Clickbank is quick with the refunds.
