My school has been using this for a few months now for our email system. It's quite nice actually.

The news article says "It's not a new hotmail". Yeah, it is. It seems I'm already signed up to it AND logged in and I see all of my hotmail email in there.

I'm sorry... M$ dropped the ball with the Internet and always has.

What they need to do is come up with a system where Skype, Facebook, Hotmail, Facetime, everyone uses one platform for video chatting.... I'm already sick of using different programs to chat with different people because they don't have skype or what not.

The US govt spys on US citizens via Skype.

skype can do fb, live(hotmail) chat... Facetime doubt Apple will ever let anyone on that outside of iOS/Mac

It's cleaner then hotmail so I'll switch to it.

Looks good, but I wouldn't trust the security of it for work myself.

can't even visit the site or find out what exactly it is they are offering unless you first sign up.

business gmail is still the way to go

This is an early beta, but Hotmail.com will eventually be transitioned to this

They're also offering unlimited storage and soon Skype integration. Not bad

if i could import my existing pst files i'd be sold
