whats the best way of creating membership site
 

having 50k+ images .


and i dont want to add images one by one.

i want asomething bulk ftp upload.

then the site has all images in it.
must look like gallery, with navigation like next image > and < previous image

You're looking for a content manager or CMS, my info is out of date as to what is best - so I'm sure someone else will say what the best ones are now.

Arles is good if you have to make your own galleries. Very customizable.

For security, you want to get something like Strongbox or PhantomFrog.

Can I resurrect the $5 sites with it?

Might do it in the winter, when it's too cold to do the garden.

Yeah, but I assumed he meant that he was going to want to create the galleries automatically, and then upload to a folder, and let ccBill or epoch do the billing / password / security side - Hence 'members' :)

So can it be used to create a front page or two, then have a few pages behind a members entrance?
