Program Owners - Where Do you Report Password Sharers?
Just program owners please. You can PM me or whatever. Have been cleaning up some strongbox reports.
I am reporting all to a HoneyPot I belong to... Where else? |
report everyone, everyone needs to be reported ... hope you know what you are doing and you will be not fucking with the last few people who are buying memberships ... :2 cents:

Funny responses. At least program owners can have a view here.:winkwink:
We tried contacting member first but his email no worky. Strongbox detected the sharing. We lost more than 20 possible memberships due to the sharing or 20+ thieves had access to site for filelocker/tube upload purposes. |
We don't report them.
To be sure, I am not happy to see passes for our sites available with a quick google search. Said this, at the moment the priority for us is to focus on other growth drivers - and on top, as lucas said, there's the idea that this may hurt legitimate customers. I've been many years with the music industry, and one thing that I've learned is that you don't fight piracy by doing those things |

Yes. At this point I am not taking it further than the biller. I have been in the music biz also since punk rock and new wave hit, about to head off on tour with a new record...I am a bit conflicted about how companies pursued napster peeps and all that.
The member who was sharing his password didn't even give a proper email to us. So no way for us to sort him out first. I don't think we really want scamming members? Do you want scamming members? he could have been hacked though I doubt it. He has joined several times over last 2 years, stays a few months, quits, rejoins later...however the number of people who have had access due to his "kindness" is fairly outrageous. I wouldn't sue someone punitively but simply for what can be proved we lost due to their actions. That seems fair to me. A membership does not give you the right to hand out freebies. That notion needs to be burned from people's minds. Its absurd. |
