The Raid --- BAD ASS movie alert!!!
 

Saw it on Blu Ray from redbox yesterday. Basically the shit starts early and never lets up. Some really brutal hand to hand combat. I'm guessing there was a special wing at the hospital for the people making this movie.

The disc defaults to English dubbed with a Linkin Park soundtrack, but you can go into the language menu and switch to Malaysian + original score. Much better.

The movie is O.K., there are some good scenes with brutal action but in my opinion Ong Bak was better.

One of the best action movies I've seen in a long time :thumbsup. I even had to see it a few times in theaters.

No. This is the Original's Made for the US Market Trailer. The Remake is still in Pre-Prod....

While I appreciate that the guy in that did all his own stunts, I kinda got tired of his signature knees-on-the-other-guys-shoulders-double-elbow-to-the-head move. You could turn it into a drinking game.

I was speaking of Merantau, but I guess it's not really a remake of Merantau either :Oh crap

Nice movie but camera was horrible,toomuch close plan if you ask me.And it was funny that crazy guy who said "shooting people with gun it's like ordering food,it's more fun to kill with hands".And then later fighting against two brothers.But in the end it still no explained exact role of that grey hair colonel

The Colonel was trying to force a coup so he could move up in the graft take from the building and impress his bosses because his superiors were never going to let him take a decent cut or advance his career even though he was in charge of all the dirtiest jobs. His superiors double crossed him though by alerting the crime boss to the raid - and giving them time to set up an ambush.

I guess you were paying attention. It's funny that some people watch a movie without actually watching it.

But why he killed last police guy on the end?That didn't have sense.

yup, it's pretty much 100% testosterone... the story is decent, they definitely could have done more with it but all of the focus was on the action
