Just watched the documentary about her on tv there. Amazing how much one woman can lie through her fat fucking mouth.


However, what was even more astounding was how the people she lied to the most, the friends she made in the aftermath of 9/11, spoke about how much they missed her and forgave her.

Is she mentally ill? I could maybe see how a person lies about something like that in order to get attention, but to carry it as far as she did makes her seem like she has some serious issues.

That's how the programme ended. Showing the tv footage of them approaching her in the street in New York last year with her pushing the camera away.

sounds to me like she wanted to have a cool story and be a part of something that was a lot bigger than herself. I doubt she planned on getting much attention past a small group of people who would feel bad for her and be impressed. Then her plan backfired, blew up in her face and she had no choice but to continue and enhance her story. I dont think she should be hated... pitied maybe, but not worth the hate.

I watched the documentary after seeing this thread. I think the most bizarre aspect of it all to me was the fact that for a couple of years she actually did a lot of good to help build and coordinate the survivor's group, even though her story was completely false. Seemed like she found a group that would accept her, so her story continued to manifest itself and once the media got involved her ego got out of control and became her downfall.

Thing is, genuine survivors were forced out of the groups because she wanted the limelight. She turned people against certain others because she wanted to be the one everyone turned to. Even though she had NOTHING to do with what happened on 9/11...

Eh, she's getting her just deserts just by being outted and all the negative lashback because of it. No one that knows or recognizes her will ever trust her again.
