Can you test this in Chrome?

http://barcritic.com/test.html

I am getting reports of it working some places, and not working on others.

It seems the issue resides in Google's Chrome, where the divs will not expand when the headers are clicked.

Can you let me know what browser and os you're using?

:helpme

I see four orange lines that expand when you click on them and close when you click again in Chrome.

Looks fine for me in every browser except the text goes past the right margin when opened in IE just a little.

btw, why don't you have Chrome? Developing for big browsers and multiple resolutions is important..

I do have Chrome. Problem is, it seems to work in some Chrome browsers, but not all. :( I've tested on three computers here, and had two others test. All seems fine. But my buddy said he's tried on multiple computers and it's only working on half of them. This is for a mainstream B&M business. Can't have it working half-ass.

4 redish lines with "header1, header2", etc.
Upon clicking, it displays text

Gotcha :winkwink:
Did you check which versions of Chrome and OS that they are using? Im on Win7 and About Chrome says it's version 21.0.1180.79 m and it works
Also, what is it doing on Chrome when it doesn't work?

I'll have to ask on the version. I should have, but imagine they would be up to date.

From what I was told, it just wasn't expanding the div's.

Is his Javascript off or not working on the one's that aren't working?

All I can think of besides that based on the source is maybe using a ;&nbsp instead of a space in the div because of similar errors in Chrome or maybe the html doctype messing it up. No clue. :helpme

you mean you didn't sell that crappy domain for thousands?

mavruda 08-17-2012 03:00 PM

it slides smoothly down - when clicked and revealing a small dummy text. When clicked again, it slides up to cover the text like a curtain. This is jquery plugin. Possibly not to be seen in every version of browsers around.

But somehow this sliding smoothly reminds me of having sex....

Must be hard for an illiterate fuck like yourself. I have fucking tested you idiot. I have had others test...many others and never had a problem. If you had actually taken two seconds to read the thread, you would have seen this.

I have personally tested ff, ie and chrome on three computers. I have even tested on my android phone. Each of which has worked fine.

Now explain that problem.

wehateporn 08-17-2012 04:53 PM

Older versions of IE not liking it, should only be a small percentage of users
