What should I do with these empty free hosted blogs?

I have a ton of empty free hosted blogs with good keywords that I haven't had time to develop. Any thoughts on what I should do with them? Anyone actually making sales of Free Host Blogs? Should I just pay someone a few hundred bucks to build them all out? Any thoughts?

Some of my free blogs do well, rank, and make sales. Others get a few hits here and there. It doesn't cost you anything to hold onto them, so don't just delete the accounts. If you're looking for a content writer, I'm always looking for more work. webcamdomains (@) gmail dot com :thumbsup

Do you write within the actual free hosts?

Just put a few posts on them and use them to link to your main blogs.

Also, free hosted blogs can potentially rank really well.

Are "a few posts" enough though? Do you submit them with only 3-4 posts?

They're great for a lot of things depending on how you use them.
Some examples: Incoming keyword research, research for selling text and/or banner type/placement and which sites/niches sell, feeders for backlinks to other related splogs or your own good handwritten blogs, and they also do well on their own. These days people are less concerned clicking on a subdomain link than they used to be.

You could for some directories but some are picky and actually look at the blog before listing instead of just looking for their backlink. If you do submit with 3-4, be sure to add more later or prepare for a probable jump on SEs for a week or two then gone. I'd suggest 7-10 for a real blog.

All great valid points! But is 4-5 posts enough on each? What I'll prob end up doing is try doing one a day with 5 posts maybe and submit to random directories plus link to self hosted.

Once again....Dr.Col comes to the rescue to mend my wounds. Thanks brother!
