Decided to try something new with the blogs...
I recently decided to try something new with the blogs. I've been literally posting out to galleries on every single post using a big image cropped down.
I recently (5 hours ago) decided to go with another method and see how it does in comparison. I've decided to save the images from the galleries and post the pics in my blog posts directly instead. I'm hoping it will help out a bit. Anyone tried both methods? Any thoughts? Next step will be adding videos directly as well through flowplayer. Although I question if SEO wise its bad to link to vids if I'm not going to host them and just link to them... |
I did, expected more time spent on site, but almost no difference google fuck me over, again and again. If I understand what are you talking about ,I think this is it

I used UUGallery to crawl images and host them at my own sites. I linked to FHG's.
No dfference. It doesn't matter. Don't have outgoing links on your blog posts or your front page. Don't post ads "above the fold" - unless you CSS them to the bottom of your page. Don't use LinkSpun (or others) to get a few backlinks from sites that won't be renewed. DO do the exact opposite of what you see on Google's properties. Look at Youtube. Ads everywhere. "Above The Fold" IS an ad at Youtube. Otherwise, create a site that blindly rips everyone's properties ( kinda like The Huffington Post ) and hope for "organic" backlinks. The internet is a joke that is controlled by three entities (depending on what you'e going for). Ignore them, do what you like, and hope for the best. There is no magic bullet. |
I spent a lot of time creating a femdom blog that had all the images hosted (using NextGEN) and videos hosted and while it helped gain more traffic and a really low bounce rate...the sales were about the same as a regular blog linking to FHGs.

Lots of quality unique text is the key...

It took me extra time to rename all the images, spend some extra work updating it more often, etc...and in that time I could've made more regular blogs and have the average signup ratio higher. It makes more signups then one of my regular blogs but I could create my regular blogs faster and more efficiently so they end up making me more income in the long run...if that makes any sense lol :) -edit- forgot to add that the blog is only about 7 months old...so who knows, maybe it will start getting even more traffic and more signups, I just gotta keep watching it and see how it turns out |
