Re install of dreamweaver keeps bringing up syntax error
 

What am i doing wrong i use the same script on a number of sites but since re install it keeps bringing up syntax error

i should have used
<?php include( "linkex/data/output/1001" ); ?>
but i was using
<?!--#include file="linkex/data/output/1001" -->
