I don't like this team...but I think 2013 is the year for Real Madrid... to many years without european cup, this year has good team and better than last year

You could well be right, then José would resign and move to Man City :2 cents:

Ross 08-30-2012 11:03 AM

I'm waiting until the transfer window closes on Friday before I call the winner. Still a lot of business to be done in the next day and a half.

I'd say it's between 4 teams. Barcelona (always capable) Real Madrid (been too long, they seem to be playing as a team now) PSG (new owners are spending huge $ on players) and Manchester City (if they can get 2 more top players, they will be challengers)

I think those 4 have to be amongst the favs. We'll find out in 8 months!

Really no idea why you have PSG in there but guess we will find out indeed :thumbsup

Scott McD 08-30-2012 11:18 AM

Yeah PSG have spent crazy money, but they have started the league season shitty. Suppose the team will need time to gel mind you.

Man City will do well to get out of that group. If they do however, then yeah they could go all the way...

lucas131 08-30-2012 11:19 AM

lol not even one team from czech republic, so go barca go! :thumbsup oh and psg yeah my white horse :)

disagree with you about psg!! will flop. like manchester city in the early days. all about the money, not about the team. well manchester is still the same but they have the best so....

could easily see madrid smashing it.

Possibly, maybe, if we are lucky.

But we still are the most successful club in the world.

Who knows. I am pulling for Arsenal just because they are my team but I doubt they will win it.

MaDalton 08-30-2012 01:57 PM

not a huge fan but Bayern Munich got a pretty easy group and they are still pretty pissed about last time. and they have a few new players that are not too shabby

I too don`t like the way this team plays football. But Mourinho`s teams have never played fantastic football but tend to be very difficult to beat. Last night for example in the Spanish cup game, Barce were down to 10 men for over half the game and were by far the better team in the second half. My money therefore goes on Vilanova to win the Champions League in his opening season as the full manager.

JesseQuinn 08-30-2012 02:09 PM

ManU, of course :) :)

Wouldn't be mad to see FCB take it, though. Watching that team play is pure poetry

Yes, it's got to suck that you lost the Champions League final in your own stadium.

What kind of fucking list is that? Borussia Dortmund the club who lost all fucking games in the first round last year, together with top notch clubs in the world?? And where are all the other teams you bitch call "underdogs", clubs been in half and quarterfinals last year...

Of course Schalke 04 will win the fucking CL!!! :)

Jel 09-18-2012 02:31 AM

2 people said woolwich? Oh dear! They are pretty much *the* banker not to win it :winkwink:

sojproductions 09-18-2012 04:08 AM

From memory, I think I was the only one or one of two who voted chelsea last year, WINNING, they get my vote again, but i'm a biased fan - we are gonna be a lot stronger in a month or two once the new players are settled. thankfully we're not in group D, that could go any way!

I support Man United but voted for Barcelona. Our midfield is still too lightweight.

v4 media 09-18-2012 07:01 AM

If Arsenal can get their full squad fit, wouldn't put it past them.
