I was a little pissed that I couldn't set-up the H100 in push-pull. Think I'm going to get some scythe slipstream fans and do it that way, otherwise case is really good so far. Quote:

like 15 years ago I would have been like damn thats hot, and would have shared my specs and pics. Now I just want a fast enough laptop for mail and stats :D
|
Awesome rig man.
At first glance I thought it resembled the one I have sitting in my closet till I scrolled over and seen it was way shorter them mine in size, I have a Silverstone Raven 2 I picked up about a year ago over at Amazon for 127.00 with free shipping. Case goes for 200.00 US in allot of places. Will be bookmarking this thread for some pointers on my next build in the coming months... |

@Darkhorse: That new machine of yours must attract chicks to you like, well... I dunno what girls are attracted to anymore :( That's a nice looking machine, but FUCK YOU for making me want to go buy a new computer. I can either fill myself up on milk chocolate, shitty German beer, and sticky buns like Currently Sober; or take his $1,400 per diem food allowance and invest it in a sleek new PC. Fucking decisions... |
Jesus...I need to organize my cables inside mine a little better. Or just update it.

I need to build a new PC for video editing. My old quadcore has served me well, but time for something faster for HD movies :thumbsup

I got a Mac today and it sucks ass imo
|
Nice rig and good to see you took the time to tidy the wiring.

Rosewill Blackhawk Ultra Case
"Cooler Master Storm Stryker" is a very nice case.
Here is one of our supercomputers at fetishwealth for our video stuff. It all nicely fits inside Rosewill BlackHawk Ultra case. It's a GIANT!! http://development.m3support.com/gfy.jpg It has 18 fans w/ cover installed.. So no problem with cooling. You might ask why someone would need 96gb of ram, well when rendering a AE project it's uses all of the memory (93gb). It cost around $7k to build, I built the same computer online at the apple store and I stopped building it once the total reached $13k and It was 3/4 complete. Apple products are so overpriced for the same stuff. |

I've been building PCs for awhile and I love it...it's great to be able to pick what parts you want and customize it exactly to your liking....all at a much cheaper price then buying prebuilt (or a mac) |

I agree on building your own system, There's nothing better then putting it all together and having it work. Up until a few years ago I always got a mate to do all my pc work, but he moved away and well I figured it was time I learn't how to do it. Quote:
Looks great:) and bet it fly's:) |
what hdd you got to get a 7.1 on it? I just installed a WD Velociraptor and it rates at a 5.9 which is lame. Drive is fast as hell.

Lot easier to steal a one-piece box from the apple store, than to steal many different parts from various stores... |
