How secure is paxum?
Does anybody know exactly what info is sent when sending/receiving funds with paxum?
What information does someone get on me if I get paid? Name, address, company? Or just e-mail? And same for sending? |
They find out where your mailbox lives, come knock on your door, piss on your flowers and rape your dog.
|
Well aren't you special.

Hi Stefan,
For personal clients, when you send money through Paxum, the person receiving the money will see your email address and that is all. For business clients, when you send money through Paxum, the person receiving the money will see your email address and Business Name. :thumbsup |
What about for the person sending? What do they see, just the e-mail you give them?

Curious why you're so worried about the person sending you money being able to figure out who you are...

Paxum is no more secure than your email.
If your email can be hacked, listened to or copied somehow, then people can request a new password and login as you. As long as it's easy to get a new password, security cannot be higher than the ease of being able to reset the password. |
