Server Speed Tests
Hey all,
I have two different servers from two different hosting companies and I would like input on how fast you can download a 100MB file in your particular location. I am in the UK and I am particularly interested to know how fast (or slow) these download for US surfers. The files are: SERVER 1 100MB Test SERVER 2 100MB Test If you have time please try the two links and post how fast they download for you and where your geographical location is. Thanks. |
server 1 = 6.38M/s in 17s
server 2 = 4.35M/s in 24s from New York on Optimum Cable 50mbit/sec residential cable |
Thanks. Bump for more.

fengwu83 I can only assume that you meant KB/s ? And yes that is slow if that's the case. I can only imagine a routing issue from your isp as it is significantly slower than the other results! |
