Same, it's a shame this half season was only 7 episodes or so. At least they were 7 good episodes though.

Can somebody explain why next half season will be aired only in summer of 2013? meaning almost one year later.

I think its all about the awards. If they split the season into two years they can qualify for the emmys twice with only one season.
