Question about multiple raid systems per motherboard...
I'm putting together a PC and want to have 2 x 160GB SSDs in RAID 0 + 4 x 2TB HDDs in RAID 10 and was wondering if this is possible to have multiple raid configurations in the bios. The motherboard I am looking into is the ASUS SABERTOOTH Z77 which allows raid configuration but I don't know if I can have both concurrently. Is this possible?
Thanks. |
Additionally I would like to raid 1/mirror the SSDs to a partition created on the HDDs raid. I'm guessing this would be easiest through windows system manager...

Dont know... but I think it's overkill.... Your drives in Raid 10 should be plenty fast :)

btw.. where's the raid controller?
