Will high traffic subs destroy me?
 

I was wondering what those that submitted galleries and posts thought about doing so on a shared host? Is doing this a recipe for disaster on a shared plan?

How much traffic? If it's unlimited bandwidth and non-shitty hosting, you should be ok. The most traffic I've sent in a day to a single gallery on shared hosting is about 90-100k with no problems.

wow really? And you didn't get shutdown at all? And holy crap thats alot of traffic in one day...

In this day and age is there even a place where you can submit galleries that can send enough traffic to make a shared hosting account have so much as a hiccup?

Nope. And yeah, it was mostly from The Hun and a lot of submitting work with Dream Submitter and Chameleon back when I used them.
