why do people on facebook..

post pics of there kids?

My mates (who are female) post each day a new batch of pics of there kids.

Do they think the world is interested in seeing little Harry kicking a ball?

But worst of, surly if your a pedo you have a huge access to lots of pics of kids.

Posting pics on facebook makes them legaly public property and so the pics could end up on other sites.

I would never dream of posting pics of my kids (if i had any) on such public sites. If I wasnted my familty or friends to see the pics, I would email them.

It just seems so odd.

I am surprised facebook even allows it or at least does not warn parents that posting pics may not be a great idea.

you need to post a dailymail link to get an answer

Not really.

xinyonghu 09-13-2012 05:41 AM

I agree with you. I have not logged in my SNS site for three years

it does.

its the legal way that the site 'isanyoneup' used to get away with his site.

he stated that if you publicly upload to sites such as facebook, these are public domain. its why newspapers can re-print them.

Both my sisters do this, one lives overseas and the other in another state and I quite like to see updates on my nieces and nephews :2 cents:

why not just email you the pics direct rather than post on a public site?

you would not go on the street and hand out photographs of your kids to strangers and tell them what school they go to, yet thats what people do on facebook.

1* You can set your wall to be only seen by your "friends" on FB. No one else can access them
2* If you have many relatives all over the place, it is much easier to post family pictures in one place rather than emailing people every time you get new pictures.
3* If a family member or a friend starts to annoy me with their posting, I just hide them from my wall.
4* I only have "friends" on FB that I personally know.

i have heard you can by pass this.

that said most people do not understand this option and leave it open.

personaly i just would not risk it.

also i suspect most people are not interested, but pretend to, just to be nice. last thing i want to see is any of my in-bred relatives kids pics.

also i would not want realy want family to read what i post to facebook.

in truth i only have those i went to school with on facebook. not to be nice. it just cheers me up that they have all become fat and ugly. and i am still better looking. in fact its shocking to see the best looking girl from school is now fat and old. yuck.

Well, I guess it all depends on your outlook on life, for me FB is just a way to keep in touch with friends/family that otherwise I would not. :2 cents:

I agree with you, some people post way way too much info.

Mr Pheer 09-13-2012 08:11 AM

Why dont you ask your friends and family why they keep posting their inbred kids on facebook? And ask them just like you asked us.

I'm sure that in no time at all, you wont be seeing their updates anymore. Problem solved!

J. Falcon 09-13-2012 08:16 AM

Because FB is for retards.

baddog 09-13-2012 08:20 AM

It is a fucking social site; does social mean something different in the UK?

lakerslive 09-13-2012 08:21 AM

people who don't use fb or call it for retards are actually loners in real life.

You live in a parallel reality quite similar to ours, but a different one. :2 cents:

Adam Blake - the sooner you get cancer and/or die in a fire, the world *will* be a better place. You monkey featured, perverted, wedding dress wearing, kids grave dancing, spy cam hiding, link-spamming, model stalking, globally hated cunt of a man. God, you're a thoroughly despicable little shit.

Slang for social security benefit, the UK version of welfare.

Because you don't have kids, I'll cut you some slack. And I'll explain it to you.

The fear isn't someone looking at your kid's pictures on FB. The fear is someone contacting your child on FB. You see, kids drive social networking. My kid is in 7th grade and every one of her friends except for one has a FB account. (And that one kid is so protected and so sheltered and so timid that she's afraid of her own shadow. Seriously.) This is how kids communicate - social networking.

billbailey 09-13-2012 07:00 PM

I don't get why they do it but it doesn't bother me. Its their page, they can put what they want on it.
You have the option to not see updates from that person if you want

pornmasta 09-13-2012 07:07 PM

to monitor what kids are doing
