Sadly the thread title is true. The number of people who were once giants and now looking for the exit door is growing every day. The carpet baggers are coming in to pick up cheap sites they don't have to do a lot with to get a quick profit.
Teendreams and Lightspeed are iconic brands. It would take little work to turn them around and put them back on the map, assuming theirs still a map left. Yet one suggested to a buyer, he wasn't interested. Does he want going sites he can tap into. Then he has to spend proper money.
There are many downsizing, many stopped buying new content or slashed the cost. And a few more big names getting the licenses in order to sell their once great empires. To be replaced by tube sites.
