Best blog/gallery post style
 

Yes, I know this subject comes up often, but things also change often, and my question is a little bit different.

Some of you may have noticed relatively recently some paysites gone from linking their preview thumbs to images to linking the preview thumbs to their Join page:

Have any of you tried this and noticed positive results?

I recently experimented with this style, for example with this new blog here because my conversions are down and I'm trying everything I can think of, but it's too early to say if it is beneficial.

If not, what seems to be working best for you as of September 2012?

Any feedback or opinions would be much appreciated!

But sadly I'm batting about 0 for 500 in past 4 days on this one.

I got first large pic going to gallery, link to join in between blocks, thumbs going to full size pics, another join link between blocks, and last large pic back to gallery.

I've tried everything. I have looked at my top converting blog videos/gallery posts and tried to replicate that link structure/approach and it didn't really work so I'll share my conclusion so far ...

Content is by far the greatest factor; the actual gallery or video that you are promoting practically determines how well it is going to convert... how badly does the viewer want to see the rest? How likely is it that they will find it for free elsewhere? Placement of links, whether you link to join or tour, whether you link the first pic to a pic or a join/tour really doesn't matter. If they want to sign up for it, they will get their link, and sign up

But I'm still curious to know what others think.

Your post looks good to me but maybe a few pics, but It should convert, the content is pretty nice looking and the girl is hot.

I tend to go with one single pic linking to a FHG and a short description normally a description of the paysite itself. It works for me

However there are so many variables that any style good work really

For my Gallery posts i go for very simple and very clean something like this

12 or 16 free pics max, 2 banners top and bottom and a description of the paysite i find works best.

I like the setup and I see you send text link to join page and banners to main/tour (as expected)

Can I ask what is your conversion ratio with this setup?
