Whats better for seo? .php or .html?

Hello my friends,

I always had my website in .html files.
But was needed to insert some php code and I changed them to .php

My question is:
Whats the favorite SE extension? .html files or .php files? or doesn't matter?
I just want to loose my visitors and drop from SERPS.

Btw, is any way to change all .php files to html via htaccess?
If yes, is recommended? Whats the best solution?

Thank you guys!

Use mod_rewrite to have clean url's ! This is the way to go

Hi, I think that there is no difference in .html or .php you use, just make a proper good looking url. I'm new to gfy so I'm not allowed to post links, but google for "google seo url structure" the pdf document that describes how to build your url and that structure is more important. I found some useful information about urls in that pdf :)

Doesn't make any difference at all. Only thing is that you pass lots of parameters directly in the URL string, that could impact your serp a bit

yeah either works fine, just look at wordpress, it's built entirely on php.
