My website seems to lack a clear niche for advertising
I'm looking for advice on ways to add advertising to my well established lifecasting site http://www.webseth.com . WebSeth is a project I've been working on since 1996 and over that time I've considered creating ad space many times however I run into trouble because the mainstream ad networks wont support me because the nature of a live 24/7 webcam includes nudity and sex (at least, MINE does). HOWEVER, I dont consider WebSeth a porn site either which makes me hesitate to put blatantly pornographic banners all over it -- this is important to me because doing so would make it hard for me to enforce to my audience that what they are seeing is genuine and NOT on-request webcam sex. I've come around a bit on this with the idea that I can frame the ads as a diversion for people who find the site when we're not home, or not actively doing sexy things that a lot of people are interested in at that specific moment in time.
I've clicked around and made accounts with juicyads, sexgoesmobile, plugrush, and fncash so far. fncash i have a good idea of how to incorporate, but the rest just seem so awkward for my purposes. It would be great I could get some recommendations from anyone. Thanks! |
