Germany for Axis of Evil is actually a surprisingly good answer if he just misunderstood the question.
|
Interview 100's of people and put up the wrong answers... that's like someone surfing your site and posting just the blurry pics, I mean who would do that lol.
|
lol half the fucking people he asked were in NYC and not from the US lol, and I could goto any country and record the average jackass and edit it down to this.

I've traveled extensively and can say without a doubt, out of all the devolved nations I've been to, the average American seems to be less educated about the world than anyone else. And not only are they not educated about it, they simply don't care. Center of the universe sort of thing.
|
people are stupid, but not because of country they come from

I agree that it's a bit dumb to go ask your Average Joe about some parliament members of another country, but having no clue about the currency of UK or stating that Australia is actually North-Korea is just plain ignorance.

I totally understand where you are coming from ... but my own experience comes from two approaches: meeting yearly with an average of 10,000 + (semi) professionals globally, and also crossing paths with the "average joe/jane" back in the States. Sadly way too many, cannot identify their own State on a map, if it wasn't already labeled for them. Something to think about ... |

The dumb as rocks has gone viral and effected more people around the world. Good/sad news: its still mostly a North American problem I cannot hold impoverished countries with very poor infrastructures to the same expectations when children by the age of 7-12 are running around on the streets selling "chiclets" instead of being in school. |
