Anyone else having issues with members from Singapore and StrongBox?
We've had two members in the past could of days have the exact problem (first time this problem has happened), and both are from Singapore. Both are showing up in SB with IPs that are not complete (according to my host), and SB keeps kicking them out. Their logins are "good user."
Both have different sign up IPs, but when they log into the site, the IPs are shortened and different. Ray says it's not IP related. Host says they think it is. Been through the whole gamut checking to make sure they are not doing anything else that could get them kicked out. Ray originally thought the first guy may have a few different browsers open and trying to get into the site but the guy says just one, one tab. I've even thought maybe some crazy Chinese language tool bar is conflicting, but one is a foreigner and only uses English, so that's out. No downloading software, turned off virus protection, tried different browsers, passwords not compromised, and both are in Singapore. Anyone else comes across this? Need to resolve it or I have to refund these two guys before they chargeback. Stumped on this one. |
Hi DWB,

We had an issue recently with SB and Japan. It took SB several months to notify us the user was password sharing. We now check more regularly. Other than that SB has been pretty good.

Your SG problem was only due to password sharing? |
We also have problem with some member's from Singapore. From my experience, their ips change because the ISP from Singapore are using some kind of Proxy to cache content or make request. The member logs with one IP and suddenly get another IP to request your page. can do this with 3 to 4 times.

Did you find a solution? |
Does the ISP give them a Browser to use like AOL?? that thing really fucks up surfing.

Mine are getting kicked literally the second they login. Ray tried to sort some things out but says his end is working. But something is happening and we can't figure it out. |
