This week has been nothing but charge backs..... I thought it was rare before, but now it seems like half of sales are refunds and charge backs wtf?!?!

SmutHammer 10-04-2012 01:04 PM

ccbill claims they are from fraud....

You do realize that a Charge Back is applied to a persons account as a payment.

SmutHammer 10-04-2012 01:10 PM

google should be held responsible for linking to stolen material....

can any recommend a good company to serve these pirates?

from ccbill

A chargeback is when the customer goes to their bank and says they did not make the purchase. The bank then pulls the funds back from us.

As for the refunds, if someone is claiming fraud, typically we are going to issue a refund.

Well you could start by reporting it to us.

you can cc any infringement reports to infringements -at- copycontrol.org

You can report any sites here http://copycontrol.org/report-piracy/

You can also fill out the contact form on http://copycontrol.org/contact-us/ and let us know what issues you're facing so we can help you.

a lot of billing companies lump charge backs and refunds into one big mess. I bet most of the issues are refund requests and not actual CB's. A lot of billers just turn the two into what they call and RRC rate which stands for refunds, returns, charge backs.

I had two yesterday.

JuicyBunny 10-05-2012 11:45 AM

2 yesterday, 1 today. Affiliate fraud and 1 straight up card jack.
I almost always kill the sale anytime a woman's name is on the card.

Elli 10-05-2012 01:55 PM

0 cb's here for the year, only 0.1% refunded in 2012 for ElliNude.com. Looks like you might have been hit with some stolen cards?

I find chargebacks happen most when the customer gets overdraft fees as a result of the charge. All of a sudden they are faced with over $240 in overdraft fees and there only option is to pretend like their card got stolen or they didn't authorize it. Most of the time the bank will call the number that appears on the credit card statement and if there is a live operator available sometimes the chargeback can be avoided by issuing a refund right there on the spot. Are you able to fight chargebacks through CCbill or does CCbill fight them for you? :2 cents:

Is it time for your beating yet? :winkwink:

We have near zero cb's for the year then a rash of fraud by one affiliate who we shit canned.

Whenever I see a woman at one address with signup form a different IP address location...what do you think?
