What movies are you looking forward to lately?

I feel so behind on trailers and stuff because, even though I am a movie nut, I haven't had much time lately and haven't found the most convenient cinema for me to go to in LA yet (the one the block over where everything is in Korean doesn't count).

This weekend I got out and saw Frankenweenie (wasn't my choice but I liked it enough) and actually got to see some trailers.

For me, of course, the Hobbit is winning out but I am intrigued by Argo and the trailer for the Oz thing might win me over if the follow up trailers are as strong.

What are shaping up as must sees for you?

xNetworx 10-08-2012 11:12 AM

Nothing as of right now unfortunately

Scott McD 10-08-2012 11:27 AM

I'm out the loop with movies just now aswell. Can't think of anything decent i'm waiting on. Heard they are doing the Hangover 3 which i'd check out but i think they are still shooting that just now...

Monique Niccole 10-08-2012 11:30 AM

The new James Bond movie with Javier Bardem as the villain.

Rochard 10-08-2012 11:32 AM

Argo - I love that kind of stuff.

And I can't wait for Skyfall to come out...

skrog 10-08-2012 11:38 AM

Indeed.

The other night I saw a trailer for a new fantasy style movie with Tom Hanks coming out within the next two months. I can't remember the name, but it looks pretty good.

Pierre Djurberg 10-08-2012 11:51 AM

Loves movies but dont have time since im working on my Adult niches instead, but the new James Bond movie would be great, see movies every night almost but fall asleep after 20min :) so i dont realy see them also :)

BlackCrayon 10-08-2012 11:55 AM

Skyfall.

SilentKnight 10-08-2012 12:30 PM

Went to see Taken II the other night and saw the trailer for Argo with John Goodman & Ben Affleck - looks good.

Taken II was good action - but typically predictable of course.

Spoiler alert - the good guy has a handgun that can shoot accurate. The bad guys have automatic assault rifles that spray hundreds of bullets that hit everything except what they're aiming for.

Argo looks like an old school seventies style thriller. Can't wait for that one.

Mr Pheer 10-08-2012 01:39 PM

World War Z is probably the next movie I'll catch in a theater.

Otherwise I'll just keep doing what I do... see what is on netflix or hbo or whatever. I spend very little time watching movies or TV.

Did you mean to type "fats" of life? Because, I think that parody would HAVE to have a BBW cast. I'm picturing April Flores as Natalie.

All the President's Men is one of my favorite movies and the trailer is giving me that sort of vibe.

It was good. If you like Tim Burton movies, the voices will be fun to figure out.

I hate the movie theatre. Just went last night to see Taken 2. Right before the movie started 3 kids, easily under 18 sat in front of my. The one girl was on her phone the entire time. Every 2 minutes her LED would flash. About 10 minutes in I got annoyed and kicked the back of her seat and asked her to turn off her phone or move.... She moved over 3 seats

Damn...same experience the wife and I had - except the chick was two rows ahead of us and I couldn't reach her seat. She sat facebooking throughout the entire fucking movie.

Otherwise I would've 'accidentally' spilled my drink all over her precious cell.

Cloud Atlas (2012)

And new James Bond

PR_Glen 10-09-2012 09:06 AM

argo sounds interesting, affleck seems to be a lot better at directing than acting so should be a winner.

i saw end of watch recently, which was pretty good. Same writers as training day. Definitely has a raw edge to it.

hobbit sounds awesome. little annoyed that they space them out so far, especially given that they are making this into 3 films now.

My BF really wants to see that. I don't have a full grip on what it is about but I am willing to go along for the ride.

Those are mine as well. I don't go to the movies often (last I saw was Toy Story 3D), but when I'm back in the States for Christmas I'll catch The Hobbit, and try and get to Skyfall before we go.
