Example, search for naked girls and damplips.com out ranks nakedgirls.com; search for free gf porn and realgfporn.com out ranks freegfporn.com.

you would think that if all was true, I looked and I really do not think I have enough traffic on mine but I found four more and I have not seen any change worth talking about up or down yet. 4 adult that get a total of 1100 a day and 3 non adult that get 200 a day. Looks the same to me so far

You are only taking into account one factor (that never was decisive for ranks), ignoring the other primary ranking metrics.

damplips.com ranks #1 for "naked girls" for years, nakedgirls.com has no content, just some shitty fullpage iframe ad, realgfporn.com has much more incoming links than freegfporn.com.

I'm pretty sure nakedgirls.com was banned by google a long time ago since it doesn't, and hasn't been indexed for a while.

Depending on the project, I'd take an EMD over a branded domain because you can still rank EMDs as long as you have content, and backlinks.

What about semi-branded domains?
