Are you trying to lose or did you get sick? I once lost 30lbs over the course of a month due to diarrhea after picking up a horrible stomach bug in the middle of nowhere in Venezuela. It was horrible.

The problem about traveling to remote places is, you sometimes catch things that western doctors are not familiar with so they can treat it as quickly as they would something you may catch elsewhere.

Caught a rare strain of conjunctivitis once in Asia at the end of my trip. Back in the USA they had to bring in a specialist to deal with it.
