I need an all-in-one messenger, what's good?

What don't you like about Trillian? I use it for Skype, ICQ, Yahoo, GTalk, MSN, Twitter, and Facebook. Works great and I'm using the free version. The only negative is the lack of video chat in some of the modules at the moment.

Unless you have a mac ... you can open it in dashboard :winkwink:

I actually use it on my phone more than anywhere else (saves desktop real estate and resources too!) ... I rarely use the desktop version.

Dunno. Tried it many many years ago and it kept crashing. Never looked back.
Maybe i need to give them a second chance;-)

Give it another try - I was the same and was pleasantly surprised with the newer versions.

Trillian pro pay the $$ its worth it been using it for years.

I dont like that with trillian, I still have to load skype for skype to work on trillian. If I'm going to load skype, I may as well just use skype.

Or maybe I'm doing it wrong?

Ok. I just came back to this thread to nagg about Skype not working on Trillian. Seems it is not just me then. If it indeed needs Skype to be loaded, i'm tossing Trillian again;-)

I see Miranda has no Skype and Pidgin needs Skype to be running as well.

Might as well stick to Trillian then, it equally sucks;-)

I have problems with Trillian. IMs not coming through, drops chats, will disconnect from some services. And I have pro!
