I posted it a year ago, maybe longer, for one mobile carrier in Thailand it is not free (at least it wasn't before). Though, it's not a facebook call, it's the call of the mobile carrier. But the Thais all paid for it.

Facebook is pure shit.
80%¨of the "clicks" on ads are facebook click bots. http : // www . forbes . com / sites / davidthier / 2012 / 08 / 01 / facebook-investigating-claims-that-80-of-ad-clicks-come-from-bots Add to that as my occaisonal business partner recently discouverd... Facebook is a huge source of pirate problems. Because it's where many of the pirates get their ideas by discussing what they should steal. SOoooo... When silly porn girls trying to be popular go and brag about being filmed... The so-called * fans * are going out and ripping our content to file lockers, tubes and torrents. Facebook = over hyped shit owned by an undisputed thief. Give it a little more time and Facebook's stock will be as worthless as the Friendster site's stock. |
It is $7 to "PROMOTE" your post on Facebook! It keeps it in the News Feed or something!
|
Facebook is free, of course they're going to charge for advertising and promotion, that's the business model.
However regardless of whether it's free or not, this time in 2017 people will be complaining about the thing which long since replaced Facebook. |

Well let's see... From what I've seen from most facebook lovers is that they have more than 1 account. Most claim to have 3 or 4 accounts different. Therefore 900 million devided by 3 = 300 million According to information made available to the public because of being on the stock exchange. The various gouvernement organisations from all over the world. (not just united states ) account for around 20% of the users. That means facebook's users are 240 million Next actual business... everything from the big transnational corporations like Coke Cola to "mom and dad owned corner stores" make up about 30% of the users on facebook. That drops facebook population down to 168 million users. Now if I could factor in 3rd world Viagra spammers, children that lie about their age, people that create an account and vanish, etc. I would guess that at BEST Facebook has around 150 million users world wide. Given the historical track record of previous social platforms 150 million sounds about right. And their stock value would appear to agree with my numbers. |

The thing that impresses me the most about Zukerberg is his outlook and approach to business is no different than that of the internet pirates. Like Kimdotcom he's narcisstic and egotiscial and like the piratebay he's believes he's "intitled" to everything. Fortunately he's not fooling the stock exchange. From day one he's shown nothing but contempt and egoism trying to blow bullshit past the investors. Since the article came out Zukerberg has "adapted". The click bots are more sophisticated and if you get into the nitty grit of what he's telling the investors it's easy to read between the lines. For example one of the things happening now is the new prison work programs. Not just in the United States but world wide, prisons are getting paid to have inmates sit infront of monitored computers and click and like advertisers ads. |

Some people are going to believe the same bullshit over and over again.

I'm surprised that YouTube hasn't done that. I work from home and have hundreds of music videos saved as favorites, and I run them all day long. Every so often they put in ads which drives me up the wall. I wish I could pay $5 a month to have them removed.
And if Facebook was to charge, I'd buy into that too. |

I don't do conspiracy theories. I do business and my evidence is the stock market. To this extent when you launch any kind of advertising programe you should end up selling « something. » I'm probably one of the last pornographers that still do mail order by magazine sales. Obviously I wouldn't be doing magazine advertising if my expenses to do so were higher than my revenus. The prof of it's effectivness of advertising is in the cost per thousand (cpm) ratios and the cost per sale. Now let me ask you this question. Why is it that any time that someone points a flaw out in the *popular held opinion* there's a large number of americains that start screaming conspiracy theory? That's as bad as 50 years ago being able to negate somone's arguments by simply saying "woman" or "hahahahahaha" etc. |
Alrighty then ...
