Hi GFU
Went ahead and started a blog. :winkwink: Just a draft so far. I know the colors are of for the theme, trying to find a good back ground and the other colors to go with it. Please check it out and give me some comments, please. http://closelesbians.easyxblogs.com |

I don't like the logo font. I dont' know what your content is going to be other than 'lesbian' but the font suggests a kind of aggressive, fetish type site.
Just my :2 cents: |
Thanks baryl
Still playing around and learning. I don't really like the font either, will definetly change it when I find the place to do it. The background I want to change to, something more girlish, like maybe a soft pink. |
You can go to DaFont.com, you can put the name in there to see what it will look like with the different fonts
|
You could add a image in your header. Now it's plain text. The image can show where the website is about. 'lesbians' and it makes your website more attractive!
Further, the basic looks good so now you need to promote it! Good luck! Regards, Wouter VPSMobile.com |

Thanks
I'll look for some pics for headers as I tune it up more. |
Thanks Avalana & Zdeneczek
I know it's not the best to use what I am using, but I wanted to first see if I could even build sites. Planning on buying domain and hosting once I learn more & play around some more. ):> |
Hello, Holly.
Why did you choose to go with the name "close lesbians"? I used google's keyword tool, and saw that the search term "close lesbians" gets less than 10 visits per month. Having a blog won't make you any money if it doesn't get any traffic. Before you create a blog you want to pick a couple of words that people search for in google. You will then use these words to rank higher in the the search engines by putting them in your blog's url, title, description, and content. Of course, there's a lot more to it than just putting keywords in your blogs; so I suggest that you take the time do some study on search engine optimization. To start you off though, you will want to use Google's keyword tool to select a keyword that gets more traffic than the word "close lesbians" does. https://adwords.google.com/o/KeywordTool - Just remember to set your "match type" to "[Exact]" |
Is English your second language?
|
Thanks alot
See something else this newbie learned - a key word place.:thumbsup |
No
Why? Am I saying things in the wrong way? I am a Florida cracker and we do speak a little different with some slang. My stories though are in proper english I hope. MS Word is set to do spell check. |
I think the content is good...There might be a few grammatical errors, but the post is readable. Most importantly, it is around 300 words long which is going to be good for SEO purposes; you just need to add a few keywords into the text. You also need to sign up for some affiliate/traffic programs, if you haven't already, so you can start monetizing your blog.

thank you lo0ni
I'll go back and check grammer again and try changing some text to keywords.:thumbsup |
Well having a problem again
I can't find a free keyword tool. :( |
You can use google's keyword tool to research the search volume of keywords: https://adwords.google.com/o/KeywordTool
You can use Open Site Explorer to check the backlinks of a competitor's website: http://http://www.opensiteexplorer.org/ (You are limited to checking 5 sites a day) Some free software you can use for research is: Traffic Travis, Serp Attacks, and Market Samurai. Market Samurai pulls info from bing, but I like to use it to generate long tail keywords. |
Thanks lo0ni
I'll use i every time I build. :thumbsup |
