KW Research and Sales

I do literally no keyword research besides searching for an exact match domain which I'm avoiding now. My question is this. Am I doing it all wrong here? All I do is title the blog post with whatever is naturally sounding.

Am I leaving money on the table not doing kw research for each blog post? Should I pick out a set of keywords before I even start a blog? I kinda just get it up and go for it. Any suggestions to help increase the cash flow?

You should do some basic research at the very least.
Use the keyword tool to do a Local/Exact/Monthly search for both your keyword and for as many 2,3, and 4 word phrases with keyword as possible. Then do allintitle searches for all the results and target the ones with the most favorable ratio.

I guess I need to determine how to determine which KWs to go after. Also, can you elaborate on what "allintitle" means?

If you are not ranking any of your sites, then you are doing it wrong. If you're ranking them then keep doing what you're doing.

Keyword research is the most important part of SEO. Allintitle is a search that will list every indexed page that contains a keyword in its title. Using allintitle will help you get a better idea of how many pages are actually competing for a certain keyword. You can also use allinurl search to see how many sites have your keyword in their URL.
