Has anybody tried Sketti?
It's spaghetti noodles with sauce made out of butter and ketchup.
Back when I was a kid, my dad used to make us Spaghetti by mixing Ketchup with Kraft Macaroni & Cheese... and to an 8 year old, it was freakin' delicious- sweet and salty and full of chemicals that I'm sure got us some kind of high. Would I ever eat it now? Oh, hell no- but every family has something weird they eat, and as nutritionally void as their "'sketti" is, it obviously makes the family happy, which comes from a place of love. Now whether or not it's a healthy way to show love is a whole other matter... |

Hmmm.. not even tempting. My husband's "sketti" is macaroni in milk. He cooks the macaroni right in the milk and eats it right down. Of course, he and his father eat plain macaroni -- no sauce. And no, I am not getting into any of the different ethnic-y foods here in Finland. My "sketti" for a while as a kid was peanut butter and cheese. Glad I grew out of that one.

Can be served for profiling purposes.
