Excel Help
Huge brain fart today, most likely due to lack of sleep.
So what I have is a bunch of records for real estate listings, about 5,000 or so. They all belong to 8 different cities, so what I want to do is remove the duplicates and create a condensed table. So for instance, it would be: City, School District. Then I could have City, Neighborhood. etc. I tried setting this up in a pivot table but I need the records to be in ROWS because I need to add other data beside it. In the case of the school district, there is say 600 listings in one city with 4 school districts, so I want to essentially weed out the duplicates. thanks :thumbsup |
Forgot to mention, I'm NOT looking to filter, but create these "tables" in a NEW tab for each

Select Insert and then a Pivot table.. you can drag and drop what you want in there.
