Cheap electronics from internet - from chinese vendors.... hmmm. Let me think....
In case like this you need to have someone there who would check the products for you.

damm those Chinese have thier fingers into every pie ..try tradetang as well lots of cheap counterfeit stuff you can buy which looks like the real stuff. You can make a killing from it :)

Quick tip, before order, find chat support online, and check do they have stuff you want on stock, order only if they have it on stock or you can wait for months. you can get money back easily, just quit order, but this way you get what you order in shortest time.

+ check their "oversea" warehouses around the world for even quicker orders

You want old vendors of big companies who can build you newer versions of old technology that you could in turn re-brand.

Had a friend that bought a bunch of knock off ipods and sold them at a flea market. People kept on bringing them back cause they sucked so bad. He ended up closing shop.

Another note: They may not be UL listed. Only an issue if you are selling through a legitimate store.

We ordered a test batch of about two dozen clappers (things that control lights and tvs by clapping your hands), ONE seemed to be ok, others were either dead or made random light shows, and the sensitivity setting potentiometer was useless.. No need to mention but we didn't go forward with the full order. (this was via made-in-china.com I think, not alibaba)
