Way too lyricy, and the beats not right. |

starts a little hard on the beat - I like trance that lulls you in then makes you dance.

I have a slightly different version here, faster, I would call it trance, then I tried to find on YT to share but I couldn't find my version. I double-checked to see if it was still referred to as Trance and it was, not that I'm an expert as to exactly where the borderline is, but others do seem to be categorizing this as Trance http://www.discogs.com/Kyau-Albert-A...elease/3884289 |
Deleted, Bill's already done it :thumbsup

Are we sure that's all trance, including silly singers or ambient pauses?
Maybe I am too old (a paul markham of "there no more trance as before"), but everyone agrees following two are trance: 1992: 2005: Now I compare with stuff posted and I am confused and/or falling asleep while listening, sure not in trance here. Somethign good is streamed on http://www.di.fm/ also got an iphone / android app, search for "digitally imported" in store/play. They got channels "trance" but also "epic trance", "vocal trance", "classic trance" , "goa-psy trance", I like some psychedelic trance too, even if most is too nonsense, need select a lot. |

Thanks for the link :thumbsup |
The first is def one of the classic trance forms, from back in the day. Trance techno, I'd argue. The hard notes and tones puch it into techno.
I'd say people would argue about the Tiesto. Trancey house, I'd call it. Drax's vid is pretty comparable to a trance show I was listening too from europe in sl earlier this week, but a bit heavier on teh lyrics than a lot of current trance. It's not like this is an exact science. |
The music blogs refer to it as Vocal Trance
"Kyau & Albert welcomes summer with a new vocal trance single" http://melonmusic.blogspot.co.uk/201...ther-time.html |
is this trance for you ?
for me it's more something like that (old) |
Its been a while since I listened to that tiesto, thanks for that. TUNE.

the musicians and djs are doing fusions and crossovers at a rapid pace, the competition is pretty fierce, so the shows are in a state of constant change. the fashions change pretty quickly. |
psy trance
pretty old too |

opinions, right. It's hard to say - if you hear a tune in a house environenment, you are forever afterwards likely to think of it as a house tune. Etc. |

This is psy trance with proper videos: Indian goa style: Coding geek style (more like plain techno trance): Mainstream (infected mushroom) outdoors party style : It was a few russian cam girls to teach me of infected mushroom, that's the favorite music of a studio at our site. What's better than a naked girl dancing infected mushroom? Maybe only trance music for cosplay events: That's psychedelic and cute both. |

Ok so the issue I have with some of those songs it is that you can't dance that properly. Any of you dancing or you just listen, there's also a "trance dancing". The dance-ability of a song it should be measured in dance floor or rave outdoors by certified human equalizers.
Not trance and 1990's (sorry), but to give an idea of danceability see & listen following - guy waving poppin here is Storm (Germany), had recorded lots of him from sat tv in VHS tapes to learn dance robotic by rewind/play/stop, it was cool before youtube existed: Even cat can dance: So is saturday and I will be at an old school trance event this night, I'm nearly 40 but is cool as we're lots old people at such place, not so popular to young generations, so grannies show at those events, same as you see 60+ year olds at Beatles or Rock events and so on, in 20 years from now Trance events will get its 60 year olds, that's fine as long as can breakdance still :) |
The goa shit is horrible i like dubstep
|
PS: Now that I am back from party.. I remember that when drunk you feel the music better, so each song should be tested after vodka too, for a final review.
