Found a photo studio to rent, is it worth it?
So the photo studio I found for rent per session, comes with all the equipment I need. There's also shower stall for models, etc.
4 Hours $175.00 8 Hours $300.00 Equipments: 4 Alien Bee Strobes 500 Watts that includes 2 Large Soft Boxes and 2 Umbrellas 4 Opus K 500 Pro Strobes 500 Watts that include I Medium Soft Box and 2 Umbrellas 2 Backdrop Stands with Crossbar 6 Light Stands 1 Alien Bee Beauty Dish Various Backdrops (White, Black, Grey, Blue, Green) Wireless Transmitter/Receiver and sync cords Silver/White Reflector Various Snoots and Grids 3 Ladders of different sizes Do you think these are good? Do I hire someone as well? I think the answer is yes! But I'd really get a thrill out of being able to take photos of models. I mean wow! mind blowing stuff. Cheers, MCR. |
Set up one cheezy obviously fake "bedroom" complete with a plant in the corner, Japanese screen and fake window. Paul can probably offer some advise. Go for it.

We rent our studio for $500/day. That includes an assistant to set up and work all the lights. Our studio comes complete with 8 pre-built sets, beauty shop station, and dressing rooms. So it sounds like your getting a great deal.

Renting a studio / equipment is a cost saver, unless you burn through your hours trying to figure out how to work that setup.
Paying for an experienced assistant may be well worth it for you. |
