Today I read that NYT and WSJ (think those were the papers...certain on WSJ) have them both at 47%.

Nope. Let me guess without clicking since its one of your threads...some conspiracy theory when in reality they write up two versions in advance so they can do quick edits and rush it out.

Brujah 10-21-2012 11:16 PM

Most interesting is, who got the 17%?

So you aren't going to look at the article but instead make a bunch of assumptions? Cool man....

Most likely just testing the system/graphics.

Sly 10-22-2012 06:44 AM

LOL. Wow, that's kind of crazy. Makes you wonder what the graphics guys were thinking at the time.

"Shit, where did I put my resumé?"

Michael O 10-22-2012 07:33 AM

I called it a long time ago, the electoral vote math is not adding up for Romney he might get the popular vote but that means nothing.
If anyone wants to put money on Romney let me know and I will take your bet.

react 10-22-2012 07:46 AM

I'll take $10k on Romney, funds are in motion.

In come the UN election monitors, but even they can't know what goes on inside The Mystery Machines :helpme

International monitors at US polling spots draw criticism from voter fraud groups
http://thehill.com/homenews/campaign...er-fraud-group

"United Nations-affiliated election monitors from Europe and central Asia will be at polling places around the U.S. looking for voter suppression activities by conservative groups, a concern raised by civil rights groups during a meeting this week. The intervention has drawn criticism from a prominent conservative-leaning group combating election fraud.

The Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE), a United Nations partner on democratization and human rights projects, will deploy 44 observers from its human rights office around the country on Election Day to monitor an array of activities, including potential disputes at polling places. It's part of a broader observation mission that will send out an additional 80 to 90 members of parliament from nearly 30 countries"

Ooops! Somebody let the cat out of the bag! They weren't supposed to show that particular graphic until 5:30pm on election night. Didn't they get the memo on that?

Yeah, the guys testing the graphics are Democrats and are voting for Obama. So when they did the "test" (though why they needed to test it when they do crawls every day on the news is beyond me) they used their candidate of choice as the winner.

No conspiracy.

Huffington Post is saying 271 to 191 in favor of Obama

USA Today has it 294 to 244 in favor of Obama

Both have Romney winning the actual vote, but losing the electoral college.

people get so bent outta shape about this stuff. Its like when a teams tests their "Champions" message on the jumbotron before the big game...people freak that its bad luck

I really have no dog in this race - I think they both suck. That said, Romney winning the popular vote and losing the electoral vote would be fucking hilarious. I kind of hope that happens just to see how Republicans will react after giving Gore-lovers shit in the 2000 election.

The Daily Show has all the news you need on the election.
