In every country where people are stupid and think that having a gun actually helps.Most civilized countries have extreme restrictions for weapons ownership.

This story is about an idiot that killed someone, the method is irrelevant. Take away guns and people will use knives, take away knives and people will use rocks.

Guns are designed to kill and facilitate the act of killing, the easier it is to kill the more it will happen.

method is not irrelevant. If method is irrelevant army ,would still use arrows. With a better and more dangerous weapon, there is a bigger chance for fatal end. That he had a knife, he would have to come close to kill her, and then would see his mistake. Also, with a knife there is a chance to run away when attacked. In some regions of china, even when buying knives in some stores, you need to register.
