Does anyone really actually watch porn on a smart phone? I know everyone has to have a smart phone and mobile site are the new wave and I assume people are making money with there mobile sites. I would find it annoying to watch porn on such a small screen.

I would bet that lots of teenaged boys are smacking it nightly to porn on their smartphone, under the covers while the parents think they are asleep.

You'd be surprised how many people do not own a computer.

No laptop / desktop / tablet - ALL of their internet browsing is done on their phone. I know quite a few people who work in trades and atleast 90% of them do not have a computer.

I can't fap to such a little screen but clearly some people do.

Over 10% of the porn traffic is mobile/tablets. Also 10% of the joins come from mobile devices. Even if your site is not mobile optimized.

There are lots of people that don't have a computer, of if they have a computer they share it with their family or it's at work. So they rather use their smartphone.

Mobile phones have always been a very personal device. If a potential customer wants to keep their activities to themselves using a mobile is a safer place to do it. Especially in cases where PCs/Tablets at home are used by the whole family. When you get the erge and you have a device that can offer porn anytime of the day or night no matter where you are then impulse is of course a large part of any mobile purchase.

If you look at the amount of companies that are now putting real effort into their mobile offerings I think it's pretty obvious that people do consume porn on their mobiles. Then take a look at the amount of mobile affiliate programs that have grown at a rapid rate in the last few years and it's even more clear that there is money in mobile porn.

The big issue is the billing especially in the EU where the credit card is used a whole lot less than in the US. This will remain an issue for the foreseeable future as the carriers take so long to payout and want such a large cut for being in your value chain. Then you throw the regulators in the mix and you have a much larger list of risks to consider.

In short Smartphones these days are pretty much mini PCs the potential to earn big is there but the mobile ecosystem moves at a rapid pace so staying on top of it is not easy... but it is possible with the right resources at you disposal :2 cents:

A lot of people do this. And why wouldn't they. Smart phones are like mini PCs it's as easy to pay on your mobile as on a PC.

Also in many European countries you can charge for access directly on their phone bill. They just have to press yes, and it takes the money from their phone balance (if they are on prepaid) or adds it to their next bill.

For our cam site I can tell the guys sign up more on PC and mostly watch naked shows on PC eventualy in fullscreen on a 50" tv. However, when they are on the move, they still login to chat and say hello to some girl. At times they're in public place so they do not click the "play" on the live video so people around don't see pussy, and only chat. In fact a small screen it is not best to see porn. I would say they buy long and expensive shows while at home on big monitor or tv to see the skin very well and big, while the mobile access it is just a follow-up or what's news chat just like a social thing with the cam girls of choice.

I have quite a few members that watch my videos on their phones.

the Iphone is a life saver when you wanna rub one out but too lazy to get out of bed to look at porn on the computer or big screen. And great for traveling, but prefer to use my ipad to jerk.

I rarely see ANY of our members go into the mobile members area. Mainly because the "normal" members area has so many cool features that the mobile version can't have. Almost 100% of that traffic is the tour. Again, my experience from what I see in my stats and in real life is that people use mobile to show something cool to their buddies. It's a great marketing tool to get signups for when they go home and get on a real machine or tablet and THEN sign up.

Not so good for affiliates of course...because you can't cookie a guy from his phone to his PC. lol

IMHO, when I click on your **Join** from my phone I get a normal web page sign up form with tiny little boxes and a ton of info to fill in. I'd guess that is where a lot of people might give up. If you are getting no sales, then go for a big easy to enter email box and say "send me the sign up details" better than nothing

Or look for a mobile friendly sign up form, that has minimal data entry required.

I'm not sure how many of my members joined using their phones but a lot use them for watching porn. I just assumed they joined using a computer and load the videos on their phones.
