How do you sum up 2012 for the industry and what do your predict for 2013?
My sum up: Small webmasters keep leaving the business, tubes get legit, classic paysite business model is dying and there's nothing what can replace it.
Predictions: tougher copyright environment for pirates, less porn spendings, innovative adult business models to appear |
I predict 2012 will end in a bit more than two months from now.

Adult websites start paying users to watch porn.
|
2013 will be the file share year.. wait and see... :thumbsup
that's for all those that thought tubes were bad. |
|
2012 Small sites and affiliates closing or going part time, big sites selling or shrinking, big sponsors seeing the futures and selling out. One big sponsor hidden behind a wall.
2013 more of above. More legislation and ways to hit pirates will emerge, it will have little effect on the porn industry. A lot here will bitch because their man didn't get into the White House. Whoever does get in will make little difference, except who blames who for the decline in everything. |
More mobile devices used for porn, Sites will come and go as they have done in the past, more social garbage websites and a diff way of file sharing
|
Business wise this year has been fine for me.
On a personal side though, this year has fucking sucked, and i will be glad to see the back of it... |
i hope 2013 will be as good as 2012 - which was fantastic

2012 = Mr Marcus scandal, Hustler buys Noof, Manwin buys most of everything else, Pimproll releases a few huge innovations with HostedTube, PaidPerView and TrafficForce... as a few smaller high quality programs like PuffyCash and PacinoCash release some marketable new sites, ManicaMedia brings big name studios like Anabolic online for the first time in a meaningful way.
2013 - Hard work pays off and whining leads only to more whining. |
