Go to LA

Enough of us live in Vegas already.

Stephen 10-26-2012 06:36 AM

Have you been to both cities? The answer (at least to me) is pretty obvious.

Having said that, I didn't live in Vegas too long: between the heat and the temptations, it wasn't in my best interest...

Of course, living in Venice Beach wouldn't have been any better for me.

MaDalton 10-26-2012 06:50 AM

why would someone move to vegas?

i like that city but after one week i am happy to get back to a normal place

Ross 10-26-2012 07:20 AM

Two great cities for very different reasons. I love to go to Vegas once per year and have some fun, live it up a little but I couldn't imagine living there. LA is one of my fav places, it has a great vibe to it and so many things to do on a day to day basis that won't cost you a ton of money. Easy choice if it were me, LA!

I loved living in Vegas. Can't wait to move back.

On the other hand, I can't stand visiting LA even for a weekend.

NaughtyRob 10-26-2012 07:59 AM

Extremely affordable. If you don't go near the strip its just like any other USA city.
If you WANT the strip its 10-15 minutes away from most areas.
Weather is amazing 9 months out of the year. June, July and August its over 100. Stay indoors.

You experienced Las Vegas as a tourist, not as a resident. Completely different.

LAJ 10-26-2012 09:16 AM

Two great cities to visit. Did my time in LA. Happy to have left it.

yeah, i know, there are other areas as well

not sure if i could handle the heat though and in general i am not a desert person, i come from a harbour city near the north sea

and i am sure others enjoy it - it's just not for me. LA would be my choice.

thehand 10-26-2012 09:23 AM

Where are you moving from?

CurrentlySober 10-26-2012 09:26 AM

i did a doo-doo...

fogfever 10-26-2012 09:28 AM

BareBacked 10-26-2012 10:10 AM

What he said...I moved here in Summer of 2001 from ATL...LOVE it here!
If you don't wanna be "surrounded" by casinos and the like...don't go to the strip.
It's pretty simple to do that.
;-)

Those are all very valid and true points. Stay away from Las Vegas, you do NOT want to live here.

LiveDose 11-06-2012 12:37 AM

I love visiting both. Two completely different places. It really comes down to your lifestyle and interests and work.

Vancouver over the last decade has turned into a huge shitehole and only getting worst.

A) all the drug addicts of Canada basically live in Vanloser
B) Tons of hipster no job wannabe greasy kids who act like they understand the world
C) biggest problem is the stinky pushy chinese with 0 manors
D) tons of stinky India people who are also pushy
E) Vancouver has no real culture
F) to much rain

Overall i got to witness its progression into total shittyness and it is only getting worst.

Kindly fuck off.

xNetworx 11-06-2012 10:01 AM

Scott McD 11-06-2012 10:46 AM
