Can you email me any tickets you have about this [email protected]
Just to clarify this is not a rule we have in place at paxum - it is a rule that is set by our card provider. Thanks |

So paypal isn't safe from this action either, sadly. This was all over a $2.73 refund. |

Not that it helps your issue, but I just had my BANK card "locked" because paypal pinged it to verify it. Paypal did nothing wrong...but it sucked when I was trying to use my bank's card and got denied. It got cleared up, then and there with a phone call...but it can happen, regardless of Paxum or Paypal or a bank issued card...
:P |

We know how frustrating this is and we completely agree with you. The card gets blocked by Choice Bank as part of their recent policies, and we to fight to unblock it. By the way, this is the same for every program that uses Choice Bank to issue cards not just us. In fact,Choice Bank does not allow deposits to prepaid credit cards from external sources and when a refund is processed, Choice automatically classifies as external funding. At that point it is up to us to actually prove that it is not funding but rather a refund for a past purchase made on that t same card. The bank requires a scan or screenshot from the card holder, as they are convinced that the merchant always gives a receipt along with the refund
We do not agree with the bank's current policy and are debating this with them. The fact that they close the card and ask questions afterwards is a bit harsh I find. They even close cards for returns from companies like Amazon and so forth, but so far we have been unable to make any headway with them in this respect. Of course, the existence of this policy can be easily verified by calling Choice Bank. If you do so, make sure to let them know what your opinion is of the way they handle refunds. Unfortunately for the moment our hands are tied and we have to follow the procedure in place in the event of refunds, even if we find it silly. |

Chris Mallick would have had this issue fixed in a minute

Paxum is just a bad joke :disgust
|
Don't use paxum on purchases, just use it at ATM = problem solved
Regular bank cards are much better for everyday purchases, as they can give you rewards/cashback and don't charge for every transaction |

Good point, using paxum for purchases = stupid
|
paxum is not reliable.
|
well, I dont have other credit card for my online purchases and paxum is a very good choice for me but really didnt knew that I can get in trouble for refund... I use paxum only for domains and hosting. so far didnt had much trouble with it... but it really got me mad when I cant use my funds 3 weeks already :(

If you receive a refund or reversal of funds to the card we would certainly not block it; in the worst case scenario if you receive a credit for a transaction that was never actually charged to your card, we would simply check to confirm that is valid, or contact you for further details. |
same situation, got shipping refund thru paypal, card locked, but I'm not worried because I have an offshore СС with no limits. but what can I say, your paxum trust lavel not based on your history...think I will not hold more than 1-2k on paxum after, but I like paxum, why? because all use paxum and I can pay anyone and get paid.

REALLY GREAT ANSWER FROM PAXUM
Dear KORKE, As mentioned in Ticket Id: #123456, your refund proof has been rejected by the bank. We kindly ask you to contact the merchant one more time asking him to provide the proof requested. Please attach this proof in Ticket Id: #123456. WELL WTF is that? I sent them all my invoices from my account and how should I get something more?!?!?! so what else I can send them to get some proof?!?!?! |
Been honestly debating setting up an account with these guys for a bit now.
This thread (and the numerous others, but this one for sure) has made that decision a whole lot easier. |
I went to a bar. The bartender closed out my tab. When she did this she also charged my card for the tab of the guy sitting next to me. I used my Paxum card to pay. She said she would just refund the money and I had to tell her no... Just leave it. I don't need my card turned off...

Pretty sad you have to make that decision. |

The cards are unlocked and in motion ..all will be fine Mallick is at the healm
On a more serious note though I loose money because I refuse to use paxum or payoneer after the epass fiasco Hope you all get it sorted out though |

No, we will not block your card if you receive a transaction reversal/refund to the card. If the credit/refund was not originally charged to your card, we may contact you for information (as a security procedure). |

Obviously I wouldn't recommend keeping money in these systems - it's better to withdraw or spend asap. And use wire transfers for amounts $5k and greater... Then you won't lose much even if something screws up in the great state of Belize :D |
Also keep in mind that Payoneer offers a Global Bank Transfer Service, that allows you to get paid from many of our partners directly to your bank account.
There is no card associated with the account; payments are directly transferred to your bank. We offer local transfers to over 50 countries, which means you're getting paid from a local bank in your country, in your local currency. For the remaining 150+ countries, we offer SWIFT transfers. The cost per payment starts at only $2.99, and exact price depends on the country. You can read more about that service here: http://blog.payoneer.com/lower-fees-...r-gbt-service/ |
Hey Nissim,
Can you drop me an email about accepting paxum payments including the fees? Thank you |
@Leon: Will send you an e-mail.
