Do you guys prepare anything special for hackers?

I see in my logs people trying to access the following.
/user/login/index.php
/admin.php
/administrator/index.php
/wp-login.php

I went ahead and made a custom 404 page with a popup.

I don't want to piss them off and threaten them. No sense getting on their target list and some are just kids.

But maybe a way to make some money off them? Maybe redirect those to a pen-testing affiliate. Maybe affiliate with something like rapid7's Backtrack certification?

I prepare a nice sit down meal, with a vintage wine.

it's not people trying to access those pages, it's bots - so messaging on the pages is irrelevant.

+ bots aren't even going to see a popup.

make sure you do a full audit and site scan with optional pen testing if you are on the list and make sure all the s/w is up to snuff
