Gfy = msnbc?

I turned MSNBC on last night and couldn't believe how bias they are. I knew FOX was bias, and thought MSNBC was on the same level... wow was I wrong!!! No wonder there are so many clueless people posting here.

They won't admit to Pa. being up for grabs, yet are sending Clinton there to campaign.

They praise Obama for making an appearance in New Jersey 1 time before heading out to campaign and act like it never happened.

They go after Romney because He called Obama out on saying "Vote for Revenge".

They are calling anyone not voting for Obama prejudice.

The list goes on and on, and I only watched about 5 minutes.... :1orglaugh

I'm going to guess CNN is least bias, but very close to the level of FOX. MSNBC should be shut down for all the lie's and misleading America so drastically.

ColBigBalls 11-05-2012 04:24 PM

All American news is bias.

News in general is bias

Why report hard facts when there is money to be made in reporting what sheep .. I mean people want to watch.

Rochard 11-05-2012 04:37 PM

Some is bitter.

MediumPimpin 11-05-2012 06:08 PM

Since Comcast took over they are really using the Fox Play Book hard, but on the left.

So what were the lies?

PA is not up for grabs. Every poll has Obama ahead by 4-6 points.

Crying in your wheaties already?

mineistaken 11-05-2012 06:31 PM

TV for obamaheads

Pa is even with in the margin of error.

They claim Obama called it a terrorist attack, he did not... And ignore them blaming the video.

They call everyone not voting for Obama racist, It seems to be more the other way around.

It's crazy really... But I'm just happy that it will all be over with soon. Bad part is that there will be a losing party, and no matter what, they will think the other cheated. No matter who wins, I just want it to be over with so I can plan my life...

No just realalistic. Look at any 3-5 news cast on any major story on a given day. He'll anything to do with the Middle East and you will see 5 different "opinions" on what's going on.

The current election is a great example. Everyone puts a "spin" on a story.

Now go back to the first man on the moon newscasts. Apart from the we beat the Russians theme which was an under tone most reported in in a similar way

It wasn't until Vietnam that media really realized they could sway public opinion with visual media. Now a days it's more about getting you to watch rather then informing you about that you are watching. It's not bias it's the evolution of modern media.

Ed there is one thing you should try to wrap your head around, the concept of good and evil. FOX (your channel) and MSNBC (their channel) are not just representing 2 different viewpoints - its all all out battle of good vs evil. It's pure unadulterated evil to want to ruin the middle class that MADE this country and give all the wealth to the top 2 percent of the rich, but that is exactly what FOX is trying to do. It's all out evil to FORCE 12 year old girls to give birth to their rapists babies but that is one of FOX's primary objectives by advocating for the overturning of Roe v Wade. I could go on and on of the dirty disgusting things that you and your FOX Friends are doing - like waging all out war against women and overt voter suppression in 22 states etc.

Poor people that vote Republican are pawns in the biggest scam ever perpetrated against the US. You are being brainwashed so thoroughly that you don't even realize its happening.

I don't believe wealth has been given to anyone, I believe it is earned.

I turned MSNBC on last night again, and seen nothing but racism. It seems they are trying to pin everyone against each other....

Well said. And its very sad, they can yell about liberal media all day long but they control the message. Thru radio ,tv and books.

Hi Ed,

It's cool that you caught that. I watch MSNBC too and I believe what they say for the most part, but somethings they take it a little too far which is kind of sad. In my opinion most of the stuff they report on seems to be dead-on, but sometimes my confidence in them drops a little.

Here's what I like and hate about msnbc:

Rachel Maddow is awesome. She presents things really well, and any time she has a guest she fact-check with her guest to make sure she's got it straight. She is also pretty fair to Romney & Ryan. She questions what they say without being mean and never loses her shit.

Ed Shultz: He's cool. He clearly has a good time at his job and is pretty passionate about what he has to say especially whenever he talks about unions and workers. His live reports from troubled areas deserve extra recognition. The man gives a shit.

Laurence O'donnell : This guy cracks me up. He's pretty smart too, but he DROOLS any time a republican trips. He is so happy and giddy to report a mistep, gaffe, lie etc that I bet he dances around in his undies, script in hand, just minutes before he goes live.

I forget the instances but I've seen ED and Laurence quote the 'publicans out of context at least once, which really pisses me off. I know that MSNBC is the anti-Fox, but they don't need to resort to this. Fox lies and distorts the truth constantly. We don't need another Fox.

Anyway, I think its best that no one stick to just Fox, or just msnbc, or just CNN for that matter. Watch whatever you like, and if you care about what they have to say take a few minutes to fact check it. You'll see find that Romney is still a flip-flopping lying piece of shit but at least you won't have to take only msnbc's word for it.

I have not watched MSNBC enough to know much, to tell the truth when I turn it on and see them trying to pin everyone against each other I get annoyed. I try to watch for a while, but truthfully I have seen to many lie's and twists in minutes that I can not give them any credit at all. I admit FOX is bias but I don't see many lie's coming from them.

As far as flip flopping, Obama is doing the same thing. It's politics :2 cents:

I guess I have a little myself. I didn't agree before with welfare and thought it should be given no longer than 6 months for someones entire life, Like Pa. does with other programs (rehabs). But now I think we should have welfare available to anyone who wants it. But it should be worked off and not be a handout.

For a while I fell into all of this crap and started to really have hard feelings towards people here on gfy. But I can say, After watching how MSNBC has been playing the hate game, It helped me get over it. Vote for who ever you like, I did, and I will except and respect who ever wins as being our President.
