Has anyone ever removed window tint "successfully" before?
I have a warehouse that the tenant tinted about 30 huge windows. There are numerous different ways on a google search but mostly geared toward smaller car windows and the techniques vary greatly. Local tinting companies don't even want to give a bid for removal.
Anyone ever attempt something similar? Tips? Thanks and please excuse a very off topic forum question. . |

i would use a knife thing from your diy shop to scrape pain off windows.
it should scrape off. big long job. i would use a sponge with lots of hot soapy water to help. but the knife will not scratch the window. BUT Unless it looks tatty, you may as well just leave it as removing its going to be a pain. |

the glue has the most terrible smell, and no matter how bad you think it looks it will get worse. |
Heat gun, windex, flat razor and a lot of time.

Use some of these,,,,WZ Window Tint Remover:thumbsup

just steam it off and no need to cut anything, get the shit hot enough that the glue and everything just pulls right off but the Obama way is a lot easier :)
