Pizza hut for dinner??

be sure to tip the driver :) :1orglaugh go figure he was fired!

(CBS) DES MOINES, Iowa - A Des Moines pizza delivery man, apparently angry about not receiving a tip from a customer, was caught on video urinating on her doorstep Thursday, KCCI reports.

Chloe Teply said she ordered a Pizza Hut pizza delivered to her apartment on Thursday night and did not have enough money on her to tip the delivery man. Several hours later, she noticed pee on her doorstep.

"I was like 'Hmmm who was at my door that might be upset with me' and it kind of hit me that it was the pizza delivery guy," said Teply.

The incident was captured on video by security cameras posted around the apartment complex.

The video shows the delivery man pausing on the stairs after the delivery.

The delivery man "sets down his pizza bag and he walks back up and you see him there doing his duty," said apartment manager Sheri Larson, who watched the recorded video. "I can't believe it. I was appalled. And then he turns around to exit again you'll see his pants are undone and he's just tucking his shirt back in and zipping up."

Teply said the deliveryman called her to apologize after the incident and also came to the apartments on Saturday morning to clean Teply's door.

"I called the store manager and he was actually very cooperative. He actually came down and viewed the videotape himself," said Larson.

The Pizza Hut manager told KCCI that the driver has been fired.

He deserves his shitty job.

Mr Pheer 11-06-2012 07:36 AM

He was apparently very pissed off.

Always take care of people that service you (what he did was wrong)... don't order delivery if you don't have enough to tip the driver :2 cents:

He gets paid to do a job nope? would you tip a bus driver, the guy sweeping the street outside your house, the receptionist at the dentists?

They are paid less hourly because they are expected to make tips and a lot of money goes towards car maintenance. It would be fine to not tip if they were paid regular wage and use company cars, but that's not the case.

Its an American thing....

I pay for most deliveries by card because I don't carry around (have) a lot of cash and I always apologize for not offering a tip 'THIS time'.

I have a few favorite places though and they know that when I can I tip them well.

And that's the real issue. There shouldn't be people who get by on begging.

Also, when you order the pizza just include a tip on your credit card and pay that way. Driver shows up, you sign, they leave. No pee.

Then the pizza company should add a surcharge on a delivered meal.

Mr Pheer 11-06-2012 08:55 AM

He should have poured lighter fluid on her door. And then lit it.

Scott McD 11-06-2012 09:02 AM

He should have brought her back a "free pizza" and pissed on that instead...

BlackCrayon 11-06-2012 09:04 AM

she deserves to be pissed on just for ordering that crap.

I don't tip people for doing jobs that I cannot do. But if I could do the job and chose not to I tip for the service.

This has got to be the worst sentence ever constructed in history. I've tried to read it three times and have no idea what you are saying here! haha

Evil Chris 11-06-2012 09:38 AM

I prefer Dominos anyway.

Technically the "Tip" is paying for the luxury of not getting her lazy ass into her own vehicle, packing up the kids or making sure everyone is taken care of and driving down to the pizza place and then driving back (without the luxury of having one of those pizza covers that keeps your pizza nice and hot on the way home) As someone has already said. You don't have enough for a tip, you order less, or you forgo the delivery. I'm pretty sure that it's worth the measly $5 to stay in the comfort of your own home.

you'll never convince the euros that tipping is normal. i always try and tip well, or over what is expected. you'd be surprised how it works in your benefit.

i am talking service wise. if you frequent a place, you'll get better service if you're a known good tipper.

I can't hop on a bus and start driving. So I won't tip someone for doing their job, I can however make my own food or pick up my own pizza. He did me a service that normally I could do, so I would tip

so you are saying you would tip him then right? Because if not you would have drove and gotten the pizza yourself. Makes good sense to me

Then why doesn't the company charge for delivery?

What do I know anyway. I want a pizza, I reach for flour and yeast, get the fresh mozzarella out the fridge and make it. I'm not eating that greasy processed shit.

2012 11-06-2012 12:42 PM

you might as well eat crack

Tom_PM 11-06-2012 12:44 PM

haha, I make my own too. A large size costs under 1 dollar in ingredients.

Hm, around here restaurants charge a delivery fee and the driver also expects a tip. It's a win-win?

Many do.

For 2-3 bucks we make great pizzas using the dough from trader joe's. If we choose we can have pizza every night for the price of one delivery pizza. Wife's are much better as well.

BlackCrayon 11-06-2012 01:13 PM

i would make my own but making your own crust seems hard and the store bought crusts suck. not to mention making your own sauce isn't easy either.

helterskelter808 11-06-2012 01:23 PM

Never mind all that. What's the meaning of Like A Virgin?

Killswitch 11-06-2012 01:29 PM

A tip is a COURTEOUS thing. Not a requirement. If you rely on tips at your job so badly, then get another job that pays better.

right the customer fills the salary gap meaning more profits to the owner

Spunky 11-06-2012 01:32 PM

I would have taken a dump instead
